Hi all! I am Tanya Legall, a local Artist in Toronto specializing in Abstract art. My media of choice is acrylic and mixed media to achieve texture.

Although Canada is home for me, I am originally from the beautiful-twin island state of Trinidad & Tobago. My love for the Arts and Crafts was discovered in High School at the age of 12 years old. My late Visual Arts teacher, Ms. Judy DeSouza was my inspiration…she believed in me and saw my full potential.

Many years later, and after living overseas for over 9 years…Turks & Caicos Islands then Cayman Islands whilst working in the field of Public Health…my 2nd love and passion…I immersed myself into my Abstract art as a means to destress and express my feelings on canvas. With my art, I become one in my safe space where I can be free to express all raw thoughts and feelings on canvas.
